Formerly known as food stamps, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP offers nutrition assistance to eligible individuals and families with lower income. To apply for benefits, contact your local SNAP office or call the Washington SNAP hotline number at 1-877-501-2233.
